Originality.AI vs. AI-Generated Content
We used the top LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to see if, with the following prompt, Originality would be able to detect non-human writing.
Prompt Used
“Can you write me an 500 word article about the moon with the intent of being factual while also trying to sound as human as possible, specifically, to pass AI detectors? Please remove all em dashes in your generation”.
Originality.AI vs AI Humanizers
For this test, we used the above text generated from Claude (since it showed the highest percentage of “human” writing at 16%) and ran it through the humanizers below. We then ran the humanized text through Originality’s detector to see if it caught the non-human content.
Testing False-Positives + Plagiarism
We used 10 unique, human-written texts from the Gettysburg address by Abraham Lincoln to the text “Pride and Prejudice” to test whether Originality gave any false positives.
Is Originality AI Accurate?
On Trustpilot, Originality.AI receives generally very positive reviews, although the most popular topic was customer service.
However, users seemed satisfied with its detection services overall and have deemed it to be largely reliable with 80% of it’s 1100+ reviews being 5 stars.
